Questions And Answers

What to Know Before Working With Mar10.

These answers explain how we approach planning and what prospective clients can expect. Because every situation is different, a private consultation is the best way to determine whether Mar10 is the right fit.

How do I know if I'm on track for retirement?

Being “on track” involves more than reaching an account balance. We evaluate your expected spending, retirement date, taxes, inflation, healthcare costs, Social Security, business value, investment risk, and the legacy you want to leave. We then test how those variables work together and identify the decisions most likely to improve the plan.

Our approach begins with the after-tax result. We coordinate investment strategy with tax planning, business decisions, retirement income, and legacy goals so clients are not receiving disconnected recommendations from separate professionals. The aim is a clear plan with defined priorities and ongoing accountability.

A financial plan is valuable whenever the cost of a poor decision is meaningful to you. Planning can help organize cash flow, retirement savings, taxes, insurance, debt, business decisions, and estate documents. During an initial conversation, we can help determine whether comprehensive advice—or a more limited next step—fits your needs.

At least annually, and whenever life changes materially. A business sale, retirement, inheritance, marriage, divorce, birth, death, health event, job change, or major tax-law change may require an earlier review. Investment accounts may be monitored more frequently, but the financial plan should be revisited whenever its assumptions change.

For the introductory conversation, bring your goals and the questions you want answered. If we move into planning, we may request recent tax returns, investment and retirement statements, insurance information, estate documents, business financials, and a summary of income and spending. Never send sensitive documents through an unsecured contact form.

Yes. Business owners are a central focus of Mar10 Advisors because their company, taxes, retirement, and family wealth are often closely connected. We also work with executives, professionals, retirees, and families whose financial lives require coordinated planning.

Compensation depends on the services provided and the capacity in which they are offered. Fees, commissions, or other compensation may apply. Before you engage us, we explain the scope of services, applicable costs, material conflicts, and the entities involved in writing. This answer must be finalized and approved by Cetera compliance.

Schedule a private consultation. We will discuss what prompted you to reach out, the decisions you are facing, and the type of help you need. If Mar10 appears to be a good fit, we will explain the information required, the proposed scope of work, applicable costs, and the next steps—before you make a commitment.
